The Pattern

If I were to ask you what do you believe is your purpose in life, what would you say?
Since you’re reading this message, hopefully you would say prayer warrior.

But, praying isn’t the only thing warriors are to do in God’s Kingdom. It is an essential part, but sadly we would run out of warriors if new ones aren’t taught the art of their calling. So, teaching others how to become skilled in the ways of prayer warfare is essential.

So, how would you teach someone to pray when they’re going through a storm?

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

1. Go to God in prayer. Take time and go again and again until your prayer is answered.

2. Pray in Supplication – asking or begging earnestly or humbly of God.

3. Thanksgiving – praise Him for what he’s going to do for you.

4. Request – Lord I am declaring this over my life in the Name of Jesus.

Your part is: to continue praying for the person or situation and asking God if there’s a scripture or something else you should share and for Him to show you the best way to minister to them so they get it.

How would you teach someone how to pray when they say they do not know how?

Go to Jesus, who is the greatest Teacher, for advice. He shared The Pattern with us so our prayers are effective and they get the desired results.

The Pattern:

“Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.” So He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.””

‭‭Luke‬ ‭11:1-4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
